For folks complaining about the crown authority necessary to switch to primogeniture, remember that if your primary title exists in a realm where there is no higher title (and thus no crown authority), you can switch to primogeniture prior to forming your kingdom.įor example, if you are the Duke of Cornwall and neither Kingdom of Wales nor Empire of Britannia exists, you can change your succession law to primogeniture and then form Wales, and Wales will have Primogeniture, even while the kingdom has autonomous vassals.
